Abstract Satellite imaging spectroscopy for terrestrial applications is reaching maturity with recently launched and upcoming science-driven missions, e.g. PRecursore IperSpettrale della Missione Applicativa (PRISMA) and Environmental Mapping and Analysis Program (EnMAP), respectively.
